Clay tendon support

Designed to support tendon and ligament recovery, our Tendon Support Clay is applied as a poultice to areas used after exercise or during localized tension.
Its flexible and homogeneous texture ensures excellent adhesion, facilitating uniform and comfortable application.
Thanks to its natural composition, it helps to decongest tissues, reduce swelling, and soothe overheating, while promoting tendon flexibility and recovery.
Used regularly, it helps to preserve the horse's locomotor comfort, whether during intensive work, convalescence, or rest.

Instructions for use

1. Apply an even layer of clay to the desired area, always smoothing in the direction of the hair.

2. Allow to dry naturally in the open air, without covering, to promote the gradual action of the treatment.

3. Once the clay is dry, remove it gently with a soft brush or rinse with clean water.

If you need to protect the area, only use breathable materials (such as cotton or a light bandage) to avoid hindering drying and preserve the effectiveness of the poultice.

Frequency of application

Occasional application or for targeted stress
In case of localized discomfort or after intense exercise, a daily application, or even two to three times a day for a short period, can be considered, depending on the horse's tolerance and the evolution of the affected area.

Maintenance application
For prevention or to maintain the comfort of tendon tissues, an application every two to three days is usually sufficient, especially for horses subjected to regular work or repetitive efforts.

Complementary care routine
For a comprehensive approach, Tendon Support Clay can be alternated with Tendon Support Oil, applying each product every other day.
In parallel, the Tendon Support Complementary Feed works from within to strengthen the resistance and flexibility of tissues, thus creating an optimal synergy between external care and internal support.

Detailed composition

Illite clay
Rich in minerals, illite is recognized for its absorbent and stimulating properties. It promotes local microcirculation, aids in the reabsorption of excesses, and supports peri-tendinous tissues in their return to balance.

Kaolinite clay
Particularly gentle, it is suitable for sensitive skin and contributes to the flexibility of the texture. It enhances the absorbent power of the treatment while ensuring comfortable use, even on fragile areas.

Montmorillonite clay
Appreciated for its ion exchange capacity, it contributes to fluid balance and the comfort of superficial tissues. It also improves the hold and consistency of the poultice.

Lemon Eucalyptus essential oil
Naturally rich in citronellal, it is recognized for its soothing and refreshing properties. It helps to relieve hot or strained areas.

Java Citronella essential oil
Tonic and stimulating, it supports microcirculation and helps to limit stagnation around tendon structures.

Lemongrass essential oil
It promotes a feeling of lightness and helps revitalize the limbs after exercise.

Patchouli essential oil
Its woody notes complete the aromatic synergy and promote a soothing environment, ideal for tendon and ligament recovery.

For external use only. Do not ingest.
Use judiciously: a small amount is sufficient for optimal application.

Keep out of reach of children.

It is recommended to perform a skin tolerance test on a small area before any extensive application.
Not recommended for pregnant or lactating females and animals under 6 months of age.
Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of splashing, rinse thoroughly with clean water for several minutes.
