Soaked ground, repeated rain, persistent humidity... all conditions that naturally weaken the horn and tissues of the hoof.
Our Hoof Oil for Wet Conditions provides a targeted response to protect, strengthen, and preserve hoof balance in these difficult environments.
Thanks to its natural formulation, it forms a breathable protective veil that helps limit the effects of excessive moisture (softened horn, softened bulbs, loss of resistance) while maintaining the hoof's solidity and elasticity.
Applied regularly to the frog, sole, and bulbs, it helps maintain horn quality and support overall hoof health.
It can be used preventatively, as a follow-up to a sanitizing treatment, or for regular maintenance, depending on the horse's needs and external conditions.
A natural and practical solution to support horses in wet environments and preserve hoof balance over the long term.
Directions for use
1. Clean the hoof if necessary, making sure to thoroughly clear the areas to be treated (sole, frog, wall).
2. Apply the oil with a brush to the entire hoof, top and bottom.
3. Pay particular attention to the periople, to nourish and protect the horn by promoting its natural elasticity.
Application frequency
In case of prolonged exposure to humidity
A daily application can be carried out, depending on the individual sensitivity of the horse and the terrain conditions. This regularity helps preserve the horn and limit the effects of the wet environment on the hoof.
For routine maintenance
An application every two to three days is sufficient to maintain hoof balance, strengthen the horn, and preserve its flexibility and quality.
Complementary care routine
Hoof Oil for Wet Conditions can be used alternately with Hoof Sanitizing Clay to enhance hoof comfort in a humid environment.
In case of already altered or visibly degraded hooves, it is preferable to start with Hoof Oil for Damaged Hooves, before gradually switching to this maintenance oil.
