Description
When faced with a damaged or compromised frog, this fibrous paste is applied directly to the affected area to purify and protect. Designed to fill deep cavities, our Damaged Frog Clay acts as a natural dressing: it cleanses the hoof, soothes tissues, and supports gradual reconstruction. Suitable for weakened hooves, it creates a protective barrier against external aggressions (soil, humidity, soiled bedding), allowing the frog to regenerate under optimal conditions. It easily integrates into a targeted care routine when the area requires enhanced attention.
Instructions for use
1. Carefully clean the hoof if necessary, ensuring to clear the areas to be treated.
2. Take a quantity of fibrous paste and gently insert it into the cavity using a hoof pick or suitable tool.
3. Leave the treatment in place until the next application.
Frequency of application
Intensive or occasional care
Daily application may be necessary depending on the observed condition and the depth of the cavities.
Targeted maintenance
Application every two to three days may be sufficient to maintain a healthy hoof and limit environmental aggressions.
Complementary care routine
This treatment can be used during a local cleansing phase, in addition to the Hoof Cleansing Clay, to target hollow or degraded areas.
Once the frog is visibly restored, maintenance can continue with only the Hoof Cleansing Clay, then be replaced by an ointment or oil, in dry hoof or wet hoof versions, depending on the season and the condition of the hoof.
